VanFest 2021

VanFest 2021

Stephen Wade Auto Center was excited to be a part of VanFest 2021!  We joined #VanLife aficionados on May 8th in Hurricane at the Washington County Legacy Park, where nomads and the adventurous at heart alike toured different kinds of van builds to get started with and mingle about life on the road.

VanFest is a unique, one-of-a-kind festival that captures the spirit of adventure by being held all over the United States—the organizers appropriately traveling by van themselves.  Festival attendees can tour more than 100 fully customized van and school bus conversions and gain more ideas to augment or begin their "van life" with workshops from industry professionals.  Even those who are simply interested in the lifestyle and browsing builds can attend; St. George News even considers the event the "Parade of Homes" for van life.  Influencers are welcome to meet up, and all can partake in entertainment from a full live concert by The National Parks Band, eat at various food trucks, shop at vendors, and more.

Seasoned travelers have declared the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo Van as their van of choice to convert into a camper due to its versatility and endless options.  Sprinter vans are among the safest vehicles to choose from for conversion due to being equipped with high-tech safety gear and features.  They also have excellent driveability that the Mercedes-Benz brand is known for and variety concerning size, length, and interior height, so you can pick one that best fits your #VanLife vision.  A Sprinter van is the most luxurious you'll find in its segment; we believe a premium vehicle is what an adventurer deserves, especially if they're going to be living in it.  We were happy to display a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle at VanFest, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of St. George.  We were impressed by what exhibitors had done to their vans!

We were thrilled to be a part of the first VanFest in Southern Utah.  We would love for these energetic nomads to pass through the area again with another event soon!
